Parents’ Association

Scoil Íosagáin Parents’ Association is a major support to the school.

The Association meets on a regular basis.

The Aims of the Parents’ Association are as follows:

 To represent the views of parent

 To inform parents of developments in education in the school

 To foster co-operation between parents, teachers and school management

 To provide opportunities for parents and teachers to meet and exchange ideas

 To assist in extra-curricular activities

 To provide training and education for parents as required

 To help organise leisure activities for children

 To help with the provision of extra equipment for the school

Parent Consultation Group:

Before Covid-19 the Principal had begun meeting with a group of parents once a term to share information around areas of policy development and curricular changes. Parents were invited to participate in the consultation. New members are welcome.
