It was our great privilege to attend the launch of Catholic Schools Week in Saint Eugene’s Cathedral in Derry. It was a great honour for our choir who were asked to sing at the Mass which was celebrated by Bishop McKeown and concelebrated by Fr. Bradley. Our choir sang beautifully under the direction of Ms Andrea Mc Daid. They truly did us proud, as did the children from our 6th classes who represented the school with great respect and reverence. Well done to Ava and Brody who painted a beautiful piece to represent how Scoil Íosagáin is “Alive in Christ” and a “ Beacon of Hope” for others. We look forward to celebrating lots of lovely activities during Catholic Schools Week. Thank you Derry Diocesan Catechetical Centre for inviting our choir to such a special occasion.
