Donegal Cross Country Championships

Scoil Íosagáin had a wonderful day at the recent Donegal Cross Country championships. Having performed really well at the Inishowen finals a few weeks ago, our pupils went on to excel in the county finals. Every team that competed ended up in winning positions as follows:

• u9 girls Gold

• u9 boys Silver

• u11 girls Bronze

• u11 boys Gold

• u13 girls Gold

• u13 boys Silver

On top of that, we also had some fabulous individual performances including 2 gold medalists, 2 silver medalists and another 5 individuals finishing in the top ten.

We have great athletic talent in the school, including pupils and staff, and it's great to see them working so hard individually and as members of a team. Maith sibh uilig agus coinnigí ag rith!!
